It's your ride and you control the intensity of your workout. We promise you will reach your fitness goals at SpinWorks.
In addition to basic cardiovascular spin classes, we also offer a variety of total body conditioning classes, including TRX resistance training.


TRX is a strength based workout using your own body weight designed to challenge those who want to get stronger and build muscle through slow, controlled movements.
Trainers will guide you to work at your personal fitness level.


A 50 minute cardiovascular challenge of simulated outdoor cycling.

Music is used to set tempo and cadence on the bikes. Flat roads, hill climbs, and jumps will be incorporated keeping riders lively on and off their saddles.

Before participating in our regular classes we require those new to indoor cycling to sign up for our complimentary Spintroduction.
During the Spintroduction, our instructors will recommend stationary bike settings for comfort and safety. This foundational class provides an overview for correct postures and is essential for achieving the best results out of every spin class.
We encourage you to stay as our guest and take the class immediately
following your Spintroduction.

The Team


Heather first discovered spinning in 2013 after learning that her congenital hip condition would require her to put a halt to high impact aerobic activity, cross-fit and definitely no more running those fun but challenging 5k’s. She had to find something that would challenge her but would have little to no impact on her joints in hopes to delay the consequences of her condition. After one class at Spinworks she was hooked, she knew spinning was in her blood.

Julie graduated from New England College, located in Henniker, NH in 2010 with a BS in Kinesiology. After graduating she became a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM. While getting into outdoor cycling during the warmer seasons of New England, the winter prevented her from enjoying the roads on her bike, which led to the reason why she got into indoor cycling. Shortly after she became a Spinning Instructor with Mad Dog Athletics and became TRX certified.


My fitness journey began at Spin-Works in 2008. It didn't take long for spin to become a habit or what some refer to it as an addiction! In 2013 when Spin-Works added TRX classes I knew I wanted to try it. I was nervous but took myself out of my comfort zone and signed up for a class. I fell in love with it from that very first class. The results were noticeable after just one month! I believe that TRX is the most beneficial workout to add to a spin routine.


Growing up in Maine, I spent every summer sailing the coast and climbing every island! I participated in field hockey and softball through school, and then moving to RI after grad school is where I discovered Pilates and Indoor Cycling! As a Mental Health and Substance Abuse Specialist, wellness and balanced living are important aspects for everyday living. In my full time job I am currently an Addiction Specialist for a pharmaceutical company. (So after a long day of 'work' I LOVE a great ride!

Twenty years ago spinning presented the answer to my cardiovascular fitness needs. Fun, challenging, intense, and no feeling of "clumsiness" or "out of step"....Weight rolled off as leg strength and endurance grew, with no joint pain, or discomfort. Like an addict chasing the ultimate high, I took spin classes in gyms everywhere I traveled. Check your troubles at the door, keep your focus on FUN and allow yourself to know the "natural high" realized from the fruits of your labor.

I have been a certified group fitness instructor since 2008 and a AAA-ISMA certified cycle instructor since 2013. I started teaching step interval classes in college while playing Division I tennis at Duquesne University. By day, I am a pharmacist who works in Pharmacy Operations at CVS Headquarters. Fitness and health have always been a passion of mine and I rely on my experiences and training to make each class a positive experience.
